The network dongle...one size fits all.

So you’ve stopped laughing at the name, Dongle – and you’re in the know as to what it is and what it does. But do you know what in the heck a Network Dongle is? Have no fear, we’ll explain; it’s really quite simple. A Network Dongle is a single dongle that can be attached to any computer on the network. This “one for all and all for one” Dongle can be configured by the software developer to allow a set number of instances of your application to be run on computers attached to the same network. Talk about control! For instance, if the Network Dongle is set to allow five simultaneous users, when a sixth user attempts to run your application they will not be able to do so. If one of the five users exits the application this would free up a license to be used by another user on the network.
